THE MUSICAL BOX "ALBUMS OF 2013" - PART 1

Well, that was fun wasn't it?

The first part of our Top 40 run down of this years top albums - as voted for by listeners to the show - aired on the night of 26th December and I can now reveal the contents. It was a pretty good year, 2013 - better than 2012 which, at the time, I had thought to be the best year in some time. Bands and artists seem to have pulled out all the stops in 2013 and we had some real variety in the final results.

I must thank all those who took the time to vote: we had almost twice as many ballots cast as compared to 2012 and, as we shall see next week in the Top 20 run down, a number of key acts vying for the number one position.
